December  19 Invitation letters to the players

February  2 and 3  Cheerleader tryouts Shrine Center in Altoona
February 10 - Invitation letters to the cheerleaders

March 28 thru April 12th.  Hand out at media days information on motels, banquet and game tickets

June 1 - Sponsorship deadline to be in General Manager’s Office

June 9 - Final program material sent to printer for processing

July 17 - Coaches and Managers report to camp 10:00 A.M.

July  18 - Players report to camp 10:00 A.M.

July  18 - Practices begin

July  18 - Iowa Games Jack Trice Stadium 8:00 p.m.

July 19 - Iowa Cubs game Principal Park Des Moines 5:00 P.M.

July 20 - Player Parent’s Day.  Attend a 1:00 P.M. practice.  Reception on campus

July 21 - Players  and coaches visit twin cities hospital  6:15 A.M.

July 21 - All-Star Cheerleaders report to camp 12:45 P.M.

July 21 - Pizza party   mixer   8:00 P.M. Cheerleaders and Football Players

July 22 - Cheerleaders and coaches visit twin city hospital 6:15 A.M.

July 23 - Football Players and Cheerleaders to Za Ga Zig Shrine Center (Street Dance)

July 24 - Adventureland Park, Altoona – 3:00 to 8:00 P.M.

July 25 - Honor Banquet, 6:15 P.M. Hilton Coliseum Ames Parents, family members, friends, and sponsors welcome to attend.  Advance registration required.  Meal price will be $30 each.  Game participants are complimentary.

July 26 - Parade 9:30 A.M.  Main Street Ames Route (TBA) 

Game: 7 PM Jack Trice Stadium  – gates open 4:30 PM.
